Terms of Service
GoldenDoodle AI is a drafting tool designed to support, not replace, professional judgment. This agreement outlines how we expect the platform to be used responsibly.
Human-in-the-Loop Requirement
Our AI is a drafting tool, not a replacement for professional judgment. Users MUST review all outputs before sending, especially in high-stakes clinical, donor, or client communication scenarios.
We are not liable for unreviewed AI hallucinations, errors, or outputs that are sent without human oversight. The responsibility for all communications sent using our platform rests with you, the user.
We built GoldenDoodle AI to support organizations in high-stakes care. This means we understand the gravity of the work you do. We also understand that AI, no matter how sophisticated, requires human oversight. Use our platform as a starting point, not a final product.
Acceptable Use
You may use GoldenDoodle AI to draft communications for your organization, including emails, grant proposals, donor communications, client correspondence, and other mission-driven content.
You are responsible for ensuring that all content generated using our platform complies with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards in your field.
Prohibited Use
You may not use GoldenDoodle AI to generate:
- Hate speech, discrimination, or content that targets individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
- Exploitative, abusive, or manipulative content
- Content that violates the privacy or confidentiality of clients, donors, or other individuals
- Content intended to deceive, defraud, or mislead
- Content that violates applicable laws or regulations
We reserve the right to ban users who violate these safety guidelines. We take violations seriously because we serve organizations that exist to protect and serve vulnerable communities.
Intellectual Property
You own your output. We assign all rights to the content generated through our platform to you, the user. This includes the right to use, modify, distribute, and publish the generated content as you see fit.
You retain ownership of all inputs, prompts, and content you provide to the platform. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we do not claim ownership of your data.
License to Host: You grant GoldenDoodle a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, and display User Content solely as necessary to provide the Service. This includes, for example, displaying chat history, processing your requests, and maintaining system functionality. This license is temporary and revocable, and terminates when you delete your account or the content.
Standard API Terms
The Service utilizes standard commercial APIs from third-party providers, including Anthropic and Google. Your use of the Service is subject to these providers' standard data handling terms and practices. We use isolated API instances where data retention is minimized, but we acknowledge that these third-party providers have their own terms of service and data handling policies that apply to the processing of requests through their APIs.
We select API providers that align with our commitment to data privacy and security, but we cannot control all aspects of third-party API operations. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your content may be processed through these third-party APIs in accordance with their terms.
Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable, consistent service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Our platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, with or without notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoldenDoodle AI, its affiliates, and its service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the platform.
Our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
This limitation of liability does not apply to claims arising from our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
HIPAA Disclaimer
The Service is not yet a Business Associate under HIPAA. Users should not input Protected Health Information (PHI) into the platform until we explicitly authorize such use and have executed a Business Associate Agreement (BAA).
If you are a healthcare provider or handle PHI as part of your operations, please contact us before using the Service with any health information. We are working toward HIPAA compliance and Business Associate status, but until that is explicitly authorized, the Service should not be used with PHI.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion features in the platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in prohibited use, or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the integrity of our platform and our community.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform will cease immediately. We will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the platform and terminate your account.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which GoldenDoodle AI operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
